5 Thankful Things Friday
A few quick things before the long weekend
It’s rare that we get a chance to properly pause and think about what we’re really thankful for (unless you’re using The Five Minute Journal every morning or evening, or something).
This Friday afternoon before Thanksgiving, I’m going for it!
The sun… starting really basic here. I can’t deny that sunny weather has a positive and energizing impact on my day (my wife says I’m like a plant).
The ability to work from anywhere… and the awesome selection of cafes and workspaces all within walking distance from home. Plus, having 24/7 access to my quiet, dedicated studio space, seriously thankful.
Democracy, the ability to have public commentary and freedom of expression online and IRL, and of course to VOTE, as we inch closer to municipal elections here in Ontario.
Meeting note-takers and AI tools so I don’t forget the details and tasks, and the ability to review properly later after back-to-back bookings and do meaningful follow-ups.
The warm family feeling of knowing my wife, parents, and extended family will be gathering this weekend for Thanksgiving, including 2 Nonnas still here and healthy to join us.
The list goes on, but these are the first 5, and I’m heading into my final meeting before the long weekend 🙂
What's something you’re thankful for?
First few things that come to mind, go!
